I have just completed a new colorful dragonfly mug that captures the Beauty of a summer morning in the marsh. Four very common species are featured.

I am pleased to announce The definitive North American woodpecker mug. Years of photographing woodpeckers and months of tedious design have resulted in a mug that shows all seven species of North American woodpeckers that are found in the eastern United States. To arrive at the final product as you see here I did 15 major design revisions so that every woodpecker would have the right home on the mug.

Debbie and I along with birder friends enjoyed a wonderful day in Arrow Rock. Dana Ripper and Ethan Duke, cofounders of the Missouri Bird Observatory have poured their passion for food and boundless energy into creating Chez Trappeur, a wine bar and bistro  in a 150 + year old house. Great food and a relaxed environment ---just a wonderful day.

I have a very full schedule of weekend craft shows scheduled for this fall. On October 26 and 27th I will be in Kimmswick Missouri at the very popular Apple Butter Festival. I'll be located at the easy to find Blue Owl Restaurant parking lot

I took part in the Ozark Missouri annual craft show during the first weekend in October. Great experience in spite of the rainy weather.
